PX-5P Retic 5-Part Differential Hematology Analyzer

"PX-5P Retic has flexibility to operate in a 3-part mode, ensuring versatility to meet varying laboratory needs." It is equipped with advanced features that make it an ideal instrument for clinical laboratories and hospitals. It can analyse 34 parameters, including the 5-part differential WBC count, RBC count, haemoglobin, haematocrit, and platelet count. Additionally, it can provide a reticulocyte count and an immature reticulocyte fraction (IRF) analysis, which are essential in diagnosing and monitoring anaemia and other blood disorders.

PX-5P Retic uses impedance technology and a semiconductor laser to provide accurate and precise results. The instrument can be customized to meet changing needs by adding an auto sampler or a small sample volume module. The system’s technical specifications include measuring data for CBC+5 Diff mode, 2 histograms, 2 scatter grams, and 34 parameters.

The measuring principle of the PX-5P Retic is based on multi angle laser light scatter technology for 5-part WBC differential, impedance method for CBC, and light absorbance for HGB measurement. The system uses 20 µl of whole blood for sample volume and offers closed and open-tube sampling options, along with a pre-dilute software option for small samples. The reagents used by the system are environment friendly Diluent & Cleaner reagents and cyanide-free Lyse.
